Introducing Advantaged: A High Alpha Innovation Podcast

Our mission is to co-create advantaged startups with the world’s leading corporations and entrepreneurs. We talk a great deal internally about what exactly we mean by that word —advantaged — and what defines true advantage.

So, we thought it would be a perfect name for our very first podcast — a place for us (and other innovation experts outside High Alpha Innovation) to have important discussions around what it takes to build advantaged companies.

I'm so excited to launch this podcast. The longer, unstructured format of a podcast allows for in-depth conversations and a more nuanced exploration of ideas, making it a perfect vehicle for sharing insights and perspectives.

Subscribe to Advantaged on Apple or Spotify today.

On Advantaged, our team will discuss many topics tied to modern innovation and corporate startup engagement: from initiatives executed by Fortune 500 companies, to ideas and insights that can help large companies get transformative innovation programs off the ground.

We want to share our distinct vantage point with the world on what we mean by advantaged — specifically, how scaled enterprises can become advantaged and solve some of the world's hardest problems through startup creation, and how startups can be disproportionately advantaged when created through venture building.

What makes us worth listening to

In short? Our team is a unique blend of serial entrepreneurs, startup founders, investors, corporate strategists, innovation leaders, and venture builders with decades of collective "innovation" experience.

We've spent the last several years using our wealth of innovation expertise to help partners build new, transformative companies that tackle big, persistent problems facing the world: from the opioid epidemic and clean-energy transition, to regenerative agriculture adoption and food insecurity.

Through our corporate venture building, we have countless startup-creation stories and innovation lessons we want to share with all of you.

We're starting Advantaged with a special “2025 Innovation Trends” miniseries, in which our team shares insights and predictions tied to corporate venture capital, accelerators, the healthcare industry, deregulation, and more.
